We collect, save, process and use your personal data only for the purposes of providing our own services, and for delivering marketing information, and only to the extent necessary for this. We only keep your personal data to the extent and for as long as we are obliged to according to law. You understand and acknowledge that any information and content that you post or upload to the project collaboration tool (“Project Collaboration Tool”) that we provide on the Site for the purpose of accessing services and working on a book project (“Book Project”), is not considered private or personal information, but can and will be seen by other Members and BookGarage, as per your settings in the Project Collaboration Tool. Instead, all such data is stored and processed by PayPal on their computers in North America, Asia, Europe and elsewhere in the world where their facilities are located. PayPal protects your information using physical, technical, and administrative security measures to reduce the risks of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure and alteration. Some of the safeguards they use are firewalls and data encryption, physical access controls to their data centers, and information access authorization controls. PayPal will not disclose your credit card number or bank account number to anyone you have paid or who has paid you using PayPal, or with the third parties that offer or use PayPal Services, except with your express permission or if they are required to do so to comply with credit card rules, a subpoena, or other legal process.
